John says I look 'nice' in them. But I think he is just saying that to make me feel better. I told him I feel like a nerd with them on, and he said that was a good thing. Why me?!?

Glasses do not automatically make you nerdy. Lots of people wear glasses. Lots of other people who don't even need glasses buy fake ones just so they too can look cool. It's not that bad! They're great looking glasses!
But....if you dislike them that much, did you ask about contacts? Is that even an option? I know I like myself better with contacts. (Although John thinks I look better in glasses.) =)
I don't really want contacts either. I just want to be my old self and not have to wear anything. I was the only person in my family w/o glasses or contacts untill now =(

Little known fact about me: I used to hate wearing glasses. I felt like such a nerd. I understand your pain. My parent's finally decided that they would help me out and pay half the cost for vision correction surgery.
Sometimes now, I wish I could wear glasses becausde they make you look smarter...

I am sure you look beautiful! I have contacts, but that is just because I lose things. Oh my where did my head go, oh its attached, great!
